01 / PROFILE

Profile

A cybersecurity professional who pairs technical grounding with clear communication and stakeholder engagement.

I hold a master’s in Cyber Security Management from Aston University and bring hands-on experience across Governance, Risk and Compliance, security operations, threat intelligence and cybersecurity community engagement.

I support cyber risk assessments, compliance gap reviews, vendor risk evaluations, audit readiness, threat research and security reporting, and I use Power BI and process automation to make security analysis faster and clearer. I work well across teams, from SOC and IT to risk and the wider business.

What I built

  • An interactive compliance dashboard that automatically analyses Excel and CSV compliance datasets.
  • Automatic column detection and mapping to identify compliance frameworks, categories, sections and control responses.
  • Interactive visualisations, including compliance statistics, response distribution charts, compliance rankings and a framework-category heatmap.
  • Dynamic filters, searchable compliance records, sorting, detailed control views and filtered CSV exports.
  • An executive audit report that highlights compliance gaps and supports audit reviews.
  • A design that works with different compliance datasets without users configuring charts or renaming columns.

Business benefits

Reduced manual effort
Automated data mapping and dashboard generation, so compliance data no longer has to be organised and reported by hand.
Improved visibility
Compliance status, gaps and control performance in one interactive dashboard.
Simpler audit preparation
Potential gaps and detailed control records are quick to find.
Flexible reporting
Different frameworks and datasets analysed with the same dashboard.
Better decisions
Compliance teams and management can see what needs attention and prioritise remediation.

Business impact

  • Made compliance information more accessible and usable for GRC teams, auditors and management.
  • Supported a more proactive approach to spotting compliance gaps and monitoring control effectiveness.
  • Enabled data-driven prioritisation of remediation by highlighting weaker frameworks and categories.
  • Created a scalable reporting solution that adapts to different datasets and business requirements.
  • Laid a foundation for more efficient compliance monitoring, audit reporting and risk management.
